all of the *.apache.org sites and services are monitored for outages and whatnot by the asf infrastructure team. folks are even on call. so, in general, the asf knows about an outage way before you do and a team of dedicated volunteers is working on keeping the downtime as short as possible. in other words, yes, keep your email here and away from the troops doing the work :) in this particular case, the outage is being caused by a planned massive data migration. so, just be patient and things will show up. in the meanwhile you can always grep through the 2.0 docs included with mod_perl 2.0 http://search.cpan.org/dist/mod_perl/ or get the 1.0 documentation from stas' book - all of it, entirely for free http://www.modperlbook.org/ HTH --Geoff
