In httpd.conf, the mod_perl module is loaded before the include of perl.conf
yes i have startup.pl
and PerlMapToStorageHandler is not the first line of my perl.conf file.
and i can't install mod_perl 2!

Maybe attach the file (perl.conf) in another e-mail ?
Does it happen to be the first one listed in the file ?
Did you place a LoadModule line for mod_perl.so in httpd.conf BEFORE this ?
Do you have startup.pl ?
