If anyone could please explain what I missed on the differences between ( ) array's and [ ] array's, I'd appreciate it.
You want instead beginners@perl.org

() is an ARRAY
[] is a reference to an array.

my @a = (1,2,3);
my $b = [1,2,3];
my $r = [EMAIL PROTECTED];

print @a;
print @$b;
print $r;
print @$r;
print [EMAIL PROTECTED];

checkout Data::Dumper;

print Dumper [EMAIL PROTECTED];
