This is to be expected. Many of the Apache2::* modules import methods to the Apache2::RequestRec namespace. Sorry for not being helpful with your actual problem. Perhaps you have a look at $r in line 377 at the time when the error occurs? Maybe it contains something fishy. I have seen similar messages but can't remember what I did wrong. Torsten
