I've noticed that very often APR seems to be out of touch with
ModPerl when compiling (e.g., with pkgsrc in NetBSD, etc.), and this
is something that I think is unfortunate because I know some people
who use APR extensively (I use it too) and so the newest versions of
ModPerl aren't available to us.
In future, I think it would be great if ModPerl included some
optional tests with it to make sure it will work with APR (compile
with it, etc.?).
