Hi Ben. We really don't assign tasks here, people mostly are working on bits of the proxy that interest them.
It sounds like you've been around the proxy a bit. Best way to get started is to get current sources using anon-cvs to work on, and submit patches to this list for review and discussion, then commit (assuming any requested changes are in, they are OK with everyone, etc.) Use [PATCH] to begin the subject of the mail so people know it's a patch for review. We prefer unified (-u) or context (-c) diffs for submitted patches. Thanks for the interest.
