The header bug looks fixed except I noticed on some sites (java.sun.com, www.theonion.com, www.arrl.org, www.organic.com, among others) that the displayed page contains header fragments, which are all apparently groups of hex numbers. They look like ETag: value fragments, but they could be several things. FWIW all the sites run Apache httpd (1.3.6-1.3.12).
www.theonion.com only (of all places 8^) gets a 302 response as well.
Can anyone else confirm this?

Hi. Thanks Graham for fixing up these things.
I've applied the patches, (the X-Forward one as well) and they seem to work OK for me.
the only bug I have is with the cookie handling.
