Reverse Proxy

I am trying to setup the apache reverse proxy.
It works fine but the links inside the page doesn't work
correctly(Relative links). It
        doesn't try to get them from the webserver, but tries to get
them from
        the apache server, so it returns a document not found error.
        I think I am missing setting one parameter or something of the
kind...
I used as a sample the "URL Rewriting Guide" by Ralf S. Engelschall
