the latest rolls are usually kept in http://www.apache.org/dist/httpd/
when their ready for general distribution.

do you think we need a historical archive of all the alphas ?
the alphas are not nescessarily good, in fact most of them don't make
it to beta for a good reason. (they segfault usually)

Also the tag isn't nescessarily static. the Release Manager can chop&
change what is in the tag before it is rolled.
