I found this text on M$ page:

When you use Internet Explorer to browse an intranet Web site by its IP address (rather than its NetBIOS machine name), and that site uses * integrated Windows authentication * , the following error message occurs:

You are not authorized to view this page
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the
   credentials you supplied.

HTTP 401.2 - Unauthorized: Logon failed due to server configuration
   Internet Information Services

I think it ends my problem, I'm going to make another connect configuration.

Dariusz

Have you checked your server configuration?

Without giving any details of the problem, there is no way anyone can
help you.

Graham

It isn't my WWW server and I can't check it!
The main problem is that the logon window (to enter username and password)
doesn't appear. The username and password is known by me.

I need to know way more than this before I can help you, as I have no idea what your setup is like.

I am assuming the server running mod_proxy is under your control? Have
you configured it to be a forward or reverse proxy? Have you configured
it to require authentication? Does the website on the far side of the
proxy require authentication?

Without giving me a proper description of what you are trying to
achieve, what you have done so far, and what the exact problem is, there
is seriously no way I can help you. :(

Graham
