We have numerous clients using the Autocart perl shopping cart and because of no current support for the SIM method in autocart we did the necessary modifications to upgrade AUTOCART to the new SIM method required by AuthorizeNet. We have also provided the information notice from AuthorizeNet below. Currently planned weblink elimination will be on or about April, 2003. If you would be interested and or have a need for this upgrade we will be upgrading the shopping carts for a nominal fee of $45.00(standard upgrade). Please read and understand the information below. Your credit card processing could be effected if you do not comply with the SIM method in the near future. WebLink is one of several connection methods that allow merchants to automatically submit e-commerce payment transactions to the Payment Gateway directly from an integrated website. However, it is strongly recommended that you convert your connection method to either the preferred Advanced Integration Method (AIM) or Simple Integration Method (SIM), as WebLink will soon be discontinued as an acceptable Payment Gateway connection method. Once you have converted to and are successfully submitting transactions using AIM or SIM, you will need to disable WebLink. WARNING: If you do not know whether you currently submit transactions from your website via the WebLink connection method, please contact your web developer or shopping cart before disabling WebLink. Once you disable WebLink, you will no longer be able to submit WebLink transactions. As a result, all transactions submitted from your website via the WebLink connection method will fail. If you are unsure about whether you should disable WebLink at this time, please call Customer Support at 1-877-447-3938 for assistance before choosing the Disable WebLink Now option, as disabling WebLink may result in failed transactions on your account.
