I'm trying to fine tune Apache 2.0 on Windows 2000 Prof.
This box is a 933MHz with 640MB RAM with 2 UltraSCSI 36GB drives.
This box is also running a second proprietary web server for
database / dynamic page creations. I have Apache listening on
port 80 & 443. The database server is listening to port 81.
Apache is serving ALL static pages and images. The other server
is only serving dynamic pages. These pages do contain items
that are being requested from Apache. Within my small intranet
the server and my workstation is connected to a 100MB switch.
There are times when pages are lightning fast. Other times
(same pages) they are slow. I'm attaching my httpd.conf file
for examination purposes.

The site is: http://www.protecturself.com/

If you click on 'Products', any product within there, ContactUs,
'Free' giveaway, Cart Review, Checkout, basically any 'form'
oriented page is a dynamic page being handled through port 81.
Of course all hits are going through Apache using the ProxyPass.
I'm using the ProxyPass because I have a couple of development
and other domain names running also. Maybe this is my problem ?

Any suggestions will be most appreciative.
