1. I see some benefit, and I would actually prefer to see a 'proxyallow' in the default configuration
2. mail the output of "cvs diff -u" to this mailing list with a subject line [PATCH] ...
is the acceptable format for the change. If the change is a major one you might need to
fill in a form saying it is yours.. (I'll double check on that)

Hi,
I was looking through the mod_proxy threads and saw a request for the following:
ProxyAllow as opposite for ProxyBlock
Due to a requirement for the same reason specified in the email threads,
preventing abuse of proxy, MasterCard required this same functionality. I made
the changes to the mod_proxy source files to add the ProxyAllow functionality
(Apache-2.0.47).
We have been using this new functionality for about a month in our Dev and
Staging Environment. Production to go live 1/29/04.
So my questions are:
1. Do you see any benefit to adding this functionality to the Apache source?
2. How would I make such a submission of code back to the Apache Group?
-All the documents I have read are for submitting bug fixes and not
enhancements to the source. If you could point me in the right direction to
correctly initiate the enhancement submission process, I would greatly
appreciate it.
