Actually, Davy, I've re-read my entire message, and I couldn't even find
your name. I did make reference to your club, but only to contrast it with
these other two clubs. The only reason I posted this information was
because I realized that most people probably have NO IDEA that stuff like
Kaleidoscope and Soul Clan are going on in Toronto, and for people that
don't think they'd enjoy a night at Blow Up, that's unfair to YOUR city and
YOUR scene.

This has actually come up on the list before, Davy. Your club does happen
frequently, and it does draw large crowds. That doesn't mean every
modslister would prefer it to a smaller, more "purist" club, however. It is
a disservice to anyone planning on visiting Toronto to not make the
information available--and allow them to decide for themselves.

which

Good point. If I gave the impression in my previous message that I'd
attended either Kaleidoscope or Soul Clan, I appologize (although I would
like again to mention that I plan on visiting both as soon as I can!).
However, based on YOUR account of YOUR club, what I've read of the others,
I honestly believe I'd enjoy myself much more at them. I'm allowed to make
decisions like that, you know, and in a forum where people tend to offer
their opinions, I'm given to do the same.
>for a guy who's' never been to Toronto or to my club you really

No, not much to say, really... just that I'd rather attend Kaleidoscope or
Soul Clan than I would Blow Up. It's a pretty logical conclusion: I like
Northern Soul and Jazz a lot, and you, the promoter of Blow Up, don't. Now,
do I go to the club that plays the music I like, or the one that doesn't?
I'm not attacking you personally, Davy, but for somebody that thinks "it's
all just a joke," you don't seem to take criticism very well.
>too bad your such a dink or you could have come up too...
Yes...Too Bad...
