I'd have to agree with Eddie!
Two summers ago I took a little road trip up there... the museum is pretty
plain, one of several small houses owned by Motown on the block.  It is at
once a little awe inspiring, for the obvious reasons (Marvin Gaye stood
right here, *swooooooon*) but its also a little sad.  No disrespect to
anyone living in Detroit, but the place is a dump.  You can just imagine how
happenin' it once was, and it's really too bad that it turned out the way it
is.
Unfortunately, the only memorobilia I kept for myself (a motor city
bumpersticker!) was impounded... along with the car it was attatched to...
