TWINK!!!!! We tried David Hemmings (star of Blow-Up) thanks to Richard
giving me his home number...haha... and he really wanted him to do it,
but his wife or significant other...ehem... would not let him leave dear
old Blight'y... What can you say to that...? TWINK was our man!
(YES! thee "Tomorrow" Twink) will be hosting and MC'ing the event... he
is a massive fan of SMALLSTONE from LA...?
which reminds me... The Smallstone... are leaving the west and all it's
comforts (That's for you Richard Hutt) to be here for us at our 5th
annual New Years Eve Hoolie! Yes, Smallstone with newest member Jeff
Davies (ex-Brian Jonestown Massacre guitarist) are driving up here to
celebrate 2000 with people who actually love and believe in music... it
should be fun... though I've only heard a single by them I have read
great things about them... I understand THE LOONS played with them
recently and had a great time. Anja, Mike...? What do you think of
Smallstone? I really would like to hear what you two think?
A hint of what you can expect for DJ's...
Joel Gion (GOLDFINGERS in LA) who is still very much a member of the
"transitional" (hahaha!) Brian Jonestown Massacre is one of the 21
international DJ,s chosen to spin their Modlennium Favourites for the 2
day party... as will fellow modslister (from time to time) Gene Balk
from Baltimore MD who knows how to sing the Canadian National anthem and
loves Canadians! (Member of the Electric Hearts... who all hate me for
stealing Gene away from the Big Apple zone for NYE)
I will be posting the full info within one week for those interested in
attending..., the website is almost complete... I will post the URL for
it if anyone wants me to?
And it promises to be CHICAGO HEAVY the next time...! HELLO CHICAGO!
Please Remember when making up your minds for NYE... tickets for this
will be limited (STRICTLY!) to 1000 and that's it... we have sold out 4
years in a row and this one will be sold out by December 1st for sure.
Anyone who wants me to hold them a ticket now... please email me off
list. TIX are $40 Canadian for two full days of fun... and that's
Canadian 40... which is like $12.82 hahaha! Soon enough.
