It would be odd if Piaggio did not have a good working relationship with
them. I can attest to one thing though, their chrome rims are CRAP, and they
buy a lot of Indian manufactured accessories (which fold like taffy and rust
almost immediately). I still miss Atomic Scooters in Hollywood, Gator and
Naomi may not have had a large shop, but they were always fair dealers and
just good people.

I miss atomic too but they do own a nice TiKi shop with scooter memorabilia.
I've heard of Piaggio have quite a few distributors around the country
now...Scooter Shop in Orange just got 2 prototype PX's in with, some kind of
smokeless exhaust's they have them down at Neiman Marcus on display. They
(the scootershop) are also rebuilding 5 P's for a restaurant in NY City for
the brother, (or nephew)? of the Piaggio head man...I think this might be a
good year for Vespa's in the US. But let me remind you they have been saying
this every year since 89-90. Rumors are just that, but I think they are
primed enough (Media exposure on Sexy European scooters) to launch in the US
again.
