*Vibrato*, that's exactly it (I should have remembered that from my violin
days...).  Yes, it does seem that more voice quivering=more soul these days,
eh?  Does it take more training to acheive this?  I don't quite understand
why it's so prevalent.
(Though I might prefer it to the squeeling voice of that Mariah flake)
