i saw american beauty. it was one of the two only decent movies released
this year..in my opinion(the other being eyes wide shut). everything about
the movie was great, especially the acting. but i am rather biased, cos
kevin spacey is my favorite actor. but hey..thats for good reason..i read an
article in entertainment weekly that talked about the lighting and other
technical aspects of the movie. it was very interesting, but then again i
actually like all the aspects of film making, no matter how insignificant
they may seem to others. there was one part in the AB article which talked
about one of the scenes in which the family is eating dinner and there was
lights put in the centerpiece that was in front of the daughter..the purpose
was to give a glow about her..giving off the impression of innocence and
such..great stuff...
