anyone watch his story-teller thing on vh-1 last night? he talked a bunch 
about steve marriot, the first time he met marc bolan (who told bowie at the 
time that *he* "was king mod" and that bowie's shoes "were shit") and did a 
pretty cool version of "i can't help thinking about myself."
