So just how many people on this list go to 'Brighton Beach' in Leeds?
I so far gathered that Matt and Julian are part of the select group of
people, but I'm sorry Julian I can't say I know which one you are.
Its rather silly really because I been going to the damn place for so long
and I have a mental picture of all the regulars there, but don't have a clue
of anyone's name.
I feel that I must broadcast that BB is not the 'be all' and the 'end all'
of my life but it is certainly one of the highlights.

Hi Jonathan,
I occasionally go to Brighton Beach in Leeds - my boyfriend sometimes dj's
there (he did one a couple of weeks ago). I used to go more often about 3
years ago, but I am more a Brighton Beach Sheffield regular now . I must say,
I think there used to be a better atmosphere at Leeds BB a few years ago,
compared to how it has been the past few times I've been up. (Anyone - is
Leicester BB still on? If so, whats the next date?)
Anyway, wherever I am, you'll find me on the dancefloor, I just can't help it,
if the music's good then how can you stay still? :-) Just get out there!
You'll find that people are friendly enough once you make that first move!
(Well, most people anyway!) There is quite a lot of surface snobbery on the
scene. Its the same in any club, and as recently pointed out, can seem worse
in London, but once you talk to people you usually find out everyone feels the
same! People can be intimidating, especially when they turn and stare when you
walk into a club or they're looking you up and down checking out what clothes
you're wearing, but thats the 'mod' scene for you! (And I'm sure everyone's
been guilty of acting like that at some time!)
But, once you crack those hard exteriors there are soft centres!!! (?)
Enough babble from me
