In another burst of self promotional activity (which, of course, runs the
risk of chastisement from Big Moder), I will be joining you in the trenches,
as it were, at the Matthew Sweet show. And, in fact, we are playing on Nov.
5th with the mighty Sloan. It's at the Middle East down, and I certainly hope
that you'll say hi if you come.
The other thing I would recommend is on the 30th. You'll probably have a
halloween party to go to or something, but there is a very good band called
Boy Wonder playing at TT the Bear's. They have a really cool
girl-group/Spector sound. Very cool 60s pop influences: shades of the
Hollies, the Turtles etc. Also, if you can possibly manage it, take the
commuter rail out to Salem for Halloween. It's spooooooooky.
