Sorry, is this a trick question? Although I suppose it's OK (I'd
perhaps go for mildly preferring the Beat version, mainly because it's
missing the astonishingly annoying intro from the Smokey version) even a
quick glance ought to show that both the Miracles and the Beat have an
entire back catalogue each of better songs. Can't honestly think off
the top of my head of a Miracles song I like less.
