Hello Modslist,
I just wanted to post a little something about our trip to Toronto! My
boyfriend and I returned this weekend from a 4 day long jaunt to TO, and we
had an awesome time! It's an absolutely amazing city and everyone we met
was FABULOUS. We found ourselves wishing we had more time to do and see all
the cool stuff this town has to offer.........we did all the touristy stuff
as well as some of the 'mod' events, and in all, it was very fun and
action-packed. Toronto is a very diverse, hopping, easy-to-navigate town,
and must be one of the restaurant capitols of the world! Great shopping
too. Things like STREETCARS and CHINATOWN are a big-time novelty to St.
Paulites like us, as well as the CN Tower! :o) It was great.
I want to ESPECIALLY THANK and throw out some love to TORONTO Modslisters
DAVY LOVE, RYAN TAYLOR and ASAKA, DARRELL 'D.J. BANGERS' JOSEPH, 'JETBOY'
ADAM, 'MINI' JAMES COLES and anyone else we might have met while there - it
seems like I was introduced to WAY more - I dunno that strong Canadian beer
must have clouded my memory! ELIZABETH and IVA, I'm sorry we didn't connect
at Blow-Up but maybe next time! A VERY hospitable and wonderful sweet
crowd of people. If anyone going to Davy's NYE event wants cool tips about
TO, e-mail me. Here's to wishing all of you a good time - and a good
exchange rate! :o)
