Oh no! I'm being quoted quoting someone. Please don't attribute that piece
of nonsense to me.

Television, huh? I'm not sure that television comedies are an accurate
depiction of real life in any country. At least I hope not or we're all in
trouble.

On another note, I feel the need to state that I'm not well versed in the
socioeconomic ladder of the British Isles. And I'm sure that not a lot of
Brits are well versed in ours, so that may be where a lot of the
discrepancies come from. Plus, it really seems like a moot point these days
anyway. The idea of being clumped into cartoon stereotypes based on our
parent's past accomplishments, short comings, and yearly wages seems a
little outdated to me. Especially when talking about something as arbitrary
as fashion or musical taste or being "cool". Now I've forgotten how this
whole topic started anyway.
