Yo-
At the mall this weekend my friend and i were checking out a Dr. Martens
display at a shoe store and it has a really nice hard cover book about the
history of Dr Martens and there's tons of features on the various musical
movements, primarily in britain...skins, oi, mod, punk, two-tone, psycho-billy,
even some more modern stuff...it's really fuckin' cool...and the center spread
is a giant pic of none other than the moz himself..what more do you need? I
guess they're supposed to be given out with purchases of the shoe, but go talk
to the vendor...he gave us each a copy just for asking...i guess they get
boxloads of them and not many people are interested so it's worth a shot!
Anyway, like i said, there's great pics and some really interesting stuff...
if any of you are bored at work (which i'm sure 98% of you are..) i scanned
some of the cooler pics..maybe they've shown up before, but i've never seen
them and i liked them....
