And Seth, I've been trying to hold back, but I have to step in and tell you
to give Milford a chance- it's no city, but for a young eager kid who
obviously needs a LOT of quiet time and do some reading so he knows what
he's talking about when he posts (although your role has been coopted by
(young mr. Hunt lately) it can be a cute little town... seriously though,
say hi to Les and Bob at Fladd's, the best record store... note that the
Stonebridge parking lot used to be the site of a ritzy fifties movie
house... Joel at Retroactive might be able to set you up with some vintage
duds... Franco's is the best pizza west of New Haven... explore Laurel and
Bayview Beaches and imagine the swell sixties summertime parties they must
have had... ride up the Merritt with 102.9 Oldies Big D 103 blasting... and
wait for the summer. Keep an eye out for bands like the Radiation Kings,
Absolute Zeroes, Damn Personals, and sometimes Mooney and the Make-Up, all
of whom have been known to stop in N.H.... if someone asks about JC
Superska, act like you know...
No, I probably wont respond if you email me personally, so yes, I'm from
there, and no, please don't use my name... oh yeah, I'm probably never going
back, either.

Well um, since this is all one big blurb, I'll respond to what I can. I'm
not down in Milford currently, but will be come Thanksgiving break. To me at
50,000 people it is something like a small city, at least to someone whose
lived up here as long as I have. I'm not bagging Milford, UI was being
sarcastic, I'm sure Milford is a good place, The first and second times I
was there I liked the place..It's not a bad town, just incredibly different.
Oh and the band names you dropped..The Absolute Zeroes and Radiation kings
ge t airplay on the local alternative radio station, which is fairly good,
and I do know who JC Superska is, a good friend of mine is a big fan of
theirs.
Oh, and you're right about New Haven, that's the tradeoff, New Haven and NYC
are both fairly close, NYC just a half hour by train. One more thing, um why
are you making backhanded comments about quiet time and reading..what are
you trying to say? I've been heer for longer then "Mr. Hunt" has so I don't
even think it's worth the comparison, plus I haven't attacked you for any
reason..if I don't conform to you're 10 Commandments of Mod Life well I'm
sorry I did'nt check the rule book.

Seth
