I do agree that it is tough dating outside the mod scene, but then again, my
boyfriend of 3 years is definitely not a mod. It can be done. No, he
doesn't get it, and he has a horrible time every time I try to bring him to
the clubs with me, so I don't anymore. And he isn't scene-oriented at
all..he thinks scenes are stupid. In some sense I see where he is coming
from, but I don't agree.

Dating outside a scene oriented culture can be tough, no matter how hard you
try to explain, they just do not get it. Dating a scene oriented person
outside the Mod culture can be worked out, simply because the have an
appreciation for who you are in regards to being a Mod. But when you find
someone who IS a Mod and has your undivided attention from the get
go...Whoohoo!!!
