Inter-scene dating seems to be a bit of necessity - if I only dated mods
I'd be pretty lonely. Over the years I've narrowed my standards from "mod"
to "retro" to "cool" to the current standard "must have floppy haircut".
With the big trend towards floppy-hair retro-rock up here in the semi-frozen
North (Tricky Woo, Thrush Hermit, Sloan, etc...) my dating pool has been
expanded to include what seems like hundreds of fine specimens. I have been
waiting for this day for years.
I was at work the other day (work is a large Edwardian mansion used for
film shoots, weddings, etc...) and was looking at the upcoming film
schedule. Turns out the "Get Carter" remake is being shot there over 3 days
in December. If any of you have things you would like me to throw at the
producers and anyone else responsible for ruining a great film, please send
