Please forgive me if this topic has been done to death, but I am interested
in the portrayal of mods or modliness on the silver screen. Due to the
subtlety of the mod movement to most of the planet, I am content with vague
references, a general mod aesthetic, or just some shockingly beautiful
images of modern life.

The beginnings of my own list (with pithy explanation) is as follows:

To Sir with Love- British working class teen issues and fashions. The ever
elegant Sidney Potier.

Breakfast at Tiffany's- Audrey Hepburn at her best

Killing Time- Slinky Fashion Model/Trained Killer wipes out a variety of
well and poorly dressed hoodlums.

Diva- Inquisitive and music loving youth races scooter through the metro.

Bottle Rocket - Crime caper, but much attention to uniforms adn lots of
nice aimlessness.

Quadrophenia - Touching coming of age movie.

Please feel free to add your own suggestions, or, if you feel the need, take
issue with my nominations. (somehow I feel that no one on this list needs
to be reminded of their rights to correct and inform others.)
