I remember reading somewhere that Panton was involved with Alpha, or at least a lot of the furniture was his, and that Rudi Gingrich (which I know I've spelt wrong) had some involvement with costumes on one Anderson show (though they were mostly his wife's designs). The other brilliant touch about UFO was - what other space programme (apart from Dark Star, possibly) had people smoking on space stations - there's one episode they only discover an oxygen leak because one of them can't light a cigarette. . .
