Just a note to say I was just in Seattle the other night to see Robyn Hitchcock and was most impressed with the opening act (also his backing band), Tim Keeggan and Departure Lounge. Very cool...they all sit down... and play dreamy kind of Gainsbourg kind of Scott Walker kind of Francoise Hardy nice dreamy pop with - now get this - 4 part vocals (whew!) I think there are two dates left on this tour - San Francisco and Los Angeles.... They have a UK cd on sale at the shows that apparently is coming out on Gadfly next year... BTW- Kimberley Rew is on guitar with Robyn and what a guy! His moptop in full flopabout, Kim is king of powerpop chording... worth watching him for the wild facial expressions alone...
