Sorry - as a Canadian I tend to confuse joual with French
in joual it's roughly Plato and the Idiots.

-- I'd be tempted to speculate that a tidy reference to Plato's Allegory of
the Cave is lurking in that name, a little-played gem from last book of the
Republic. better pedantic than pederast, I always say.

Anyway while I'm on the subject of moving from dark into light & french
connexion, solve for me a curiousity, was Nino Ferrer born in New Orleans
and then LATER moved to France? Who can resist his tune heard occasionally
at Boston's (DJVinny's) night, Go-Go, "Alexandre!"

(of course I can't understand a damn word, alright maybe excepting, "c'est
alexandre, c'est toujours alexandre")

Michael/Boston
all the french i know, I learned from The Police.
