I don't think they look to be livin in the past but
rather it's another of the "specialty/celebratory"
nights like a psych or Northern night etc.. I know
those guys dig all kindsa new and old sounds and
styles. They just like that stuff the best. And 50
(actually 80 was the offical headcount I'm told)
people thru the door is fine. More room for dancin!

Dancin' to SKA?! Easy baby. Just loosen up and forget
all you know or were told. Earthy.

JA pressings?! Man, nothing like a huge wad of paper
stuck right in the vinyl. Usually a rizla too!

.... The best of both worlds, hoping to bring
togetherhipcats
and psychsters alike. For everybody to congregate in
one locationinstead of
friends being torn apart in terms of music policy, cos

Yeah in theory it should work but, personally I don't
get many nights out and it works better for me if I
can go to a "night" that I know is gonna play the
stuff I like best.

When I went to BB I found it frustrating that Mark
Ellis played track after track of great stuff and then
the next guy (shall remain nameless for fear of
endless reprisals from the psyche heads) played track
after track of crap that cleared the floor! And I
certainly wasn't gonna go and listen to Oasis in the
other room.
I know what you mean tho and if the DJs are great, no
problem. I guess I'd just wait for a night that the
lineup is solid.
No different than going to see bands. Sitting thru
warm-up bands with no talent to see a headliner at 2
in the fucking morning makes me fucking nuts.

Back to business...

AIF,
Colin

np: Pink Fairies earlier but nothing right now,
thinking about some blues though.
