WOW! They were great.
Unfortunately once again stupid Jonathan didn't have the guts to talk to the
people he wanted to (Yourself and select gathering) and I think I came
across as an unsociable arse. Put names to faces? I didn't know that
nobody knew who I was I just thought folk didn't want to speak to me because
they looked upon me as I couldn't be bothered so why should we? That me
coming across as that damn unsociable person again......I am sorry...I
wasn't going to mention the confidence thing because it was getting a bit of
a slating a few post back and I don't want to end up been in the firing line
of 'you sad bastard, just get up and dance'....well that's all very well for
someone with a loads of self confidence but I will leave it at that.
However I was wearing my blue velvet jacket which isn't entirely mod but
it's quite warm and it is damn cold this time of year. Best way to
recognise me is I am about ft taller that you're average mod, which really
makes me insecure.
Anyway I thoroughly enjoyed the JTQ, don't know what kind of a write up I
could give them because I know there were many people there who could do it
a whole damn sight better.
All I can say is I love all their songs where the Hammond dominates the
entire music and their finally of 'Green Onions' kicks butt, and I think I
was stood next to Matt for the first half which kind of made my night, sorry
that sounds really desperate I know.
Unfortunately I couldn't stay as late as I usually do and had to leave at
the ridiculously early time of around 12:30. It was my Saturday overtime
day in the office so I had a real early start so I had to bomb home to
Ossett.
Anyway who knows, next time I may find some confidence deep down and be able
to talk you lot.
