Now now dear. I'm certainly not in a position to speak for Rob, but I will
say that he is welcome to sell records at whatever price he deems
appropriate. Some dealers will tell you he has the right to sell them for
whatever the market will bear. It is up to the consumer to decide to buy
them or not.

I have spoken with more than one person who thinks that Rob's prices are
high, but it is an easily solved issue. Shop elsewhere. If he's selling
his records at his prices....good for him!

If you want an overpriced record dealer, try Craig Moore, formerly of Gonn.
He freely admits that he prices his records to sell to doctors and
lawyers. I don't buy records from him, but I appreciate his honesty, and I
always make it a point to chat with him when he's in Atlanta for record
shows. He's a nice guy, I just can't afford his prices. He certainly has
the goods though!

As to why he rarely posts - well - that is certainly known only by him for
sure, but it seems to me that he has his thumbs in a lot of pies, making
for little time to post regularly to any mailing list. Between two clubs,
booking DJ's and bands for said clubs, his own travels and guest DJ
appearances (he just got back from Germany for example), shopping for
records, packing and mailing records he's sold, reading other mail, making
sure Jason Ringgold stays in line :^), and lord knows what else the man
does during the week.... I'd think his plate is pretty full.
