To further the new clothes debate that the ill-advised like to indulge
in...lucky little me had a sneak peak trying on session with Prada/Miu-Miu
Spring 2000 menswear range. Those of you with the spare cash to spring for
goodies will be impressed - the shirts are great - highish collar trim-fit
button downs with admirable French cuffs. They don't suffer from those awful
high street Ben Sherman puffy sleeves either. Also in the collection are
great polo-necks, in bottle green (to be worn with the teal shirt they
imagine) in a new fabric which is a lot like a denser double knit 60s
Smedley type material if you know what I mean.
Some of the shoes are a bit 80s/60s but there are some loafers in burgundy
that will blow both your mind and bankbook.
And the ladies will *love* some of the low-slung miu-miu shoes in black and
white that are delicious beyond description. And a two piece outfit in
tattersall, yum yum.
