Well - their drummer is 'Spiky' Phil.... is *he* the son of the drummer from
Squire? Never knew that................
I'm afraid I can't offer much insight though - I've missed their first two
gigs (even though I promised Jack I'd go!)
However - on the subject of Phil - he apparently got filmed in Trash asking
a question which later got used - they showed it to David Bowie - you know -
sort of 'video interview' - anyway - apparently Bowie praised Phil's - ahem
- style and haircut...
Not that I saw that particular programme either.......... a bit useless
really ain't I?!
I'm not surprised about the 'country' mod sound though - it'll match their
outfits!!! Francois has rarely been seen recently without his cowboy hat and
boots, and Phil too at times - I never see the guy wearing anything under 20
inch bottoms - and he calls himself a 'mod'!!!!!!!!
