>>>Yawn... can we talk some more about "country mod"?
Now that is fucking scary!

Yikes! The Country Teasers, however un-mod their music ('lil bit country,
'lil bit garage), were all clad in suits when they came to Seattle not too
long ago, the drummer in particular with a very well fitting tan corduroy
get-up with matching Clarks (it looked better than it sounds).
If we break down the most common paths for those who fade into and out of
mod, some frightening inevetabilities are discovered, see table below:

Indie Rocker finds Rolling Stones finds 60's fashion finds Mod finds Glam
finds Cowbow Hat

Britpop kid finds Blur finds Mod finds Electronica finds Rave finds Cowbow
Hat

Garage Guy finds Billy Childish finds Mod see's Guitar Wolf open show finds
Supersuckers finds Cowboy Hat

Stoner Kid finds T-Rex finds John's Children finds Mod steals dad's Cowboy
Hat

Rocker Kid finds New York Dolls finds Todd Rungren finds The Nazz finds Mod
finds old Guns n' Roses cassette in car goes out and buys Cowboy Hat

Goth finds The Smiths finds Radiohead finds Mod finds Pulp goes glam finds
Cowboy Hat

We all find The Who, we all get Cowbow Hats

As for myself, I've already got mine to avoid the Christmas rush, and
suggest you all do the same. The facts have spoken! Now mov'em doggies out,
yee'ha!
