I've been away and now I'm back and going "wha-aat!" to loads of this.

This is all I understand of the modern "hip" lingo thread, and what me and
John Gibbs was the best thing to run round LVG shouting to confound all the
Americans (sorry, it's a very childish British thing to do I know...), even
tho' we were too typically British chicken/lazy-arsed to do so. Hah, there's
another one then. Arsed: 1. lazy "I couldn'ae be arsed..." 2. drunk
"completely arsed"
Alternatively "a load of arse": the Jam Tribute lp.

But I still prefer the original Taxman by the Beatles, ta.

What are jam shoes indeed. Strawberry, raspberry, blueberry maybe, but very
hard to dance in. Sorry, they're bowling shoes. Or they used to be...

Blow what? Chunks? Is that good or bad? If bad, then yer missing a couple of
ears.

Oh, and Beck is god. Sorry, been listening to a Jeff Beck compilation.
Must've gone to my head.

BTW, greetings to Tinx, Jo, Will, Matt, Julian and Lee. I had a grand time
in Leeds and York weekend before last (yes, it's taken that long to recover,
and thanks for the flu, Tinx, it really made my week ;)) JTQ were widdly-wee
funky rubbish. BB backroom was great - I danced like a loon to loadsa soul
and bits of garage/French beat. Tinx, you looked a dream in white and glad I
got a chance to see you and Jo's fine moves. Matt - all respect - the boy
floats like, well, not like a butterfly, but his feet hardly touch slidin'
round that dancefloor. What was it with the Action clearing the dancefloor
then, tho? ;)

Jonathan - hope you've got to meet all these luvly people now. Wish you'd
come up and talked to them that night - I'd've like to have said hello too.
I know what it's like going to clubs on yer own and being too shy to talk to
anyone.

Katrina, back but still rambling incoherently...

BTW, London Live's a bit pricey at 15 or whatever, but that Cult of Clive
carrot-dangler's got me ditherin' now...
