I must commend both James Dodge and Miss Jenn for two very refreshing, sensible, and well thought-out posts to what has lately amounted to the List from Hell. Thank you - both of you - for your perspectives and wit. James Dodge had me laughing all afternooon - brilliant, James - and Miss Jenn tells it very much like it is. I agree with you completely, Jenn, and once tried to post a similar viewpoint about Davy. It was largely ignored and I was even taken to task by a few listers for 'defending' him. Ridiculous, as Davy is more than capable of defending himself. Also I agree about him being a nice guy who enjoys taunting this list as leisure sport. He was a wonderful host, and very gracious to Jim and I on our visit to Toronto. I actually think Modslist fights are fun as long as they are creative and fair, and the insults articulate and substantial. It's even more fun if those involved are above the age of 19 (a tall order for the Modslist these days, it would seem). A strange view to have, I'm sure most of you are thinking. I'm encouraging people NOT to fight at all - but if you insist on fighting (an element that has always characterized the Modslist and probably always will) remember you have an audience of a few hundred other listers watching. Have a heart. Make it interesting. Make it clever. I (almost) miss (sniff) the old days of Andy BB and Natalie. Thanks for the much needed laughs, James, and for the spot-on reality check, Jenn. Miss Becky
