Actually, I think Davy has some very keen insight into some of the music we
discuss on this list and is really quite capable of holding his own in such a
discussion. You might not want to ask him his favorite Milt Hinton track
(though I bet his comments on jazz were really just another windup to see who
would lose their mind), but he knows an awful lot about cool 60s stuff and
whatever it is the kids are shaking their bon bons to these days. I know that
whenever we play in Toronto he always introduces me to at least one cool
record that I was unaware of. Anyway, not to get involved, mind you, but
that's what I think.
