amen to that lot.
except crusties are further up my chain of choises maird mostly because they
smell similarly. a man chained to a tree with a levellers LP does not a
revolution make.
and especially the vented spleen towards the seasoned modernist cognescenti,
mainly because i'm still in my twenties and don't ache with necessity to
make others feel unwanted simply because they're younger than me. when the
threads and thoughts dictate, i'll gladly abdicate any credibility i have.
though can i add to the list in-crowds. discemination is purification, you
get no brownie points for being a part of a legion of thought. also a
divorce from the 60's anchor, as modernism's existence is established enough
without constant backward referencing. which leads me to britpop.... like
revivalism without the sincerity, relevance or content. and the bands were
shit too.
my hopes for a millennium? a new decent music movement, the expultion of the
word 'fab' from the english dictionary and the end of discussion about
global warming as i wish to ride my polluting scooters till the end of my
days. if the ice caps do melt then we'll all evolve flippers.
