1) the talented mr. ripley-
is the 50's italian setting, nice threads, scooters, jazz club
secquences and the joy of gwenyth paltrow on the big screen
worth sitting through this mellow-drama? or should it be saved
for video, for fast forwarding through the majority of the plot?
2) the day. does any one know of this band? i can imagine
this is early to mid eighties...i really dug them, and i'm
not usually too big on mod's trying to play 'mod' music,
although i've been pleasantly surprised a few times...
i'm also regretting selling my deltones cd on unicorn...
'nene choco in paris' or something like that? a couple of
the tunes were great....
3) vinyl only records from germany's northern soul comps.
a mere 10 dollars a piece from jumpup! i picked up
"the northern soul comp" yesterday, for 17 bucks (dumb)
but i am really enjoying it....am i stupid that i haven't
heard of these before this past week or don't many people know
about these?
