I too went for the dinner party as the clubbing options here were pitiful and
the concept of going into the city didn't bear thinking about. Martinis were
the drink of choice, slowly working our way through the martini connoisseurs
handbook. Sadly I had to slow down at midnight as the guest's drugs had kicked
in and I had to stop them from burning the place down with "pretty"
sparklers...... The hangovers were avoided with gourmet pizzas at 2:30am
(conveniently one of the guests owns a pizza restaurant). The next morning was
spent disappointed in front of CNN watching the world forget to blow up.
Unless there are any modslisters in New Zealand, that might have made us here
in Melbourne the first mod party of the new millennium?? wow!
