someone on the list a while ago was asking how the tenth planet fire lp
is/was, and i'm happy to report that i just got it this week and it's
absolutely fantastic. what a great band!!! thankfully it leaves off the
second single, so there's not a bad cut on the whole thing -- shit, i even
like the ridiculous 10+ minute "allison wonderland"! as far as i know it's
out of print, but if you wanna get one (for $20+) i can tell ya where...
sadly, there's a little notch at the beginning of the first side, putting a
nice popping noise onto the first 5 or so seconds of "my father's name..."
(first version, it features both). does anyone else have this lp? is it just
mine, or is it a defect in the pressing?
