Sta-Prest was merely a method or resin baking that Levis (and other
companys) used to allow the fabric to keep its shape over a long period of
time. This was what was behind the "Never needs ironing" claim, assuming
you get the trousers out of the dryer quickly after the cycle ends. While
many companies used this method, Levis called it Sta-Prest. Lee jeans
called it Lee Prest.
