So Spylab went off huh?!
I've been to this Aztec club...I went for their opening weekend big
shindig....I personally thought it was very campy. Though that might have
something to do with the halter-top go-go trash that were dancing (or should
I say sensually convulsing) on top of the speakers though....but I must say
that the DJ booth sunken into the tower of the sun god is quite a nice
touch...this is indeed one of the most...interesting, venues in Los Angeles.
Is this the shot in the arm this town needed? let's hope so! i think i will
have to check the next one out...
summer: the venue is on the corner of Olympic and Crenshaw
I stopped by cafe bleu this week. There were sooooo many people
there...packed house...a few regulars but there is a huge new influx of
kiddies coming out to play...and i mean kiddies...and people say britpop is
dead? no way....just not too much new music out there under that
banner...kinda like...umm.....MOD sounds, yeah!?
