Not to spoil the original for anyone who has been hiding under a rock or
anything but I *strongly* doubt that the remake will feature the "final
gunman". Know what I mean? Can�t see Sly and all those preview audiences
going for dead hero. Case in point, Mel Gibson�s "Payback" was allegedly a
loose remake of Point Blank. They shot it originally with a bastard hero
with no redeeming qualities but the studio chickened out and reshot half the
film to make him gradually more sympathetic. Carter will probably go the
same way.
Also in movie news: Bedazzled remake will star�..wait for it�..oooh hoooo
it�s a BRENDAN FRASER JOINT! As Stanley Moon. I knew who was doing Peter
Cook but I have already blocked it out as it is very very ugly.
