Mojo - VCR

This is for Mojo as I do not have his personal e-mail. Is there any way of transferring a Canadian format video into something we can see on our VCR's? Hopefully a kind Canadian will record Fashion TV for me this week as one of our songs is on it and if they send me the tape I need to be able to watch it. Any suggestions?
